The employer

Seckford Hall is a beautiful luxury hotel and spa located close to Woodbridge, Suffolk. Steeped in history, the magnificent red brick Tudor building is over 500 years old and is complemented by the modern facilities of the newly refurbished Seckford Spa.

The job

As Wedding & Events Manager you will be responsible for planning and running exceptional events in our 4* luxury hotel and event venue. Following a handover from the sales and planning team, you will be focused on the seamless delivery of weddings, corporate events, and private functions, working closely with the guests to ensure their expectations are met and exceeded. As a delivery-focused role, you will also be on hand to oversee the smooth-running of event whilst managing the service team and striving for excellence across the board.

What you'll need

At least two years experience in wedding and event management
Strong planning and organisational skills
Extremely personable with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients
Passionate about delivering the perfect day
Full UK driving licence and transport due to location of venues

Where you'll be based

Seckford Hall is located close to the A12 near to the town of Woodbridge, Suffolk.

What you'll receive

£29,000 - £32,000 per annum dependent on experience
Working schedule to include 5 days from 7, working no more than 40 hours per week
50% off food and beverage for up to 4 people in the restaurant
Employee rates for hotel stays
30% off spa treatments
28 days annual leave (including bank holidays in lieu)
