A private family who split their time between London and Suffolk

The job

You will work alongside the longstanding existing housekeeper, taking on all cleaning and bed-making duties in the large family home. There is typically 10-15 hours of work per week however there is a lot of flexibility here as long as tasks are completed. You may wish to spread this work over a few days or, especially if the family are not in residence, complete a few weeks of work at once. We are seeking a competent housekeeper who is looking for a loyal employer and a two-way working relationship built on trust.

What you'll need

Experience as a housekeeper within a private household
Excellent housekeeper with unrivalled cleaning skills
A high level of discretion
Honest and trustworthy
Good references and DBS (or willingness to undertake)
A Full UK driving licence due to location

Where you'll be based

Close to the small Suffolk village of Laxfield, Suffolk

What you'll receive

Fixed monthly pay of £600-£900 per month dependent on hours agreed
Average of 10-15 hours per week (dependent on what you are looking for), possibility of more available
Entirely flexible working - you'll be trusted to get the job done
