The job
As Personal Assistant & Administrator you will provide efficient administrative support to the Managing Director and senior management team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering the telephone, photocopying, filing, and responding to routine correspondence
- Attending meetings, recording minutes and actions, and monitoring follow-on actions
- Develop charts and visual aids for the purpose of internal external communications
- Support the Managing Director with group activities, including administering the property portfolio, liaising with tenants and property management companies, and organising maintenance repairs.
- Monitor, source, and communicate training for all employees, ensuring that all available grants towards training are obtained and followed through to completion.
HR administration for induction of new employees
- Provide support in maintaining an active social media profile
- Support the business in developing and implementing new processes and procedures alongside the ISO framework
- Support external consultants with auditing of ISO 9001,14001 and 45001
- Ensure accurate storage of all manual and electronic records for the business
What you'll need
Strong administration background with a keen eye for detail
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Good level of IT skills including Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word and Outlook. Some typing will be required.
An enthusiastic and professional approach to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
Driving licence and transport due to location
Where you'll be based
The offices are in a rural location in Thurston, Suffolk, and the role is 100% office-based
What you'll receive
£28,000 - £31,000 per annum dependent on experience
Full time Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm with an openness to 30 hours worked over 4 days or 5 short days
31 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
