As gardener, you will take full responsibility for maintaining the flower beds, veg garden, and fruit cage. There will be lots of weeding, bed maintenance, and planting, but no mowing or hedge cutting involved. There may be some light pool care and general maintenance tasks to take care of. There is typically 14 hours of work per week however there is a lot of flexibility here as long as tasks are completed. You may wish to work slightly more hours in the summer and less in the winter, whilst maintaining a fixed monthly income. The family are flexible as to how you work your hours, either two full days or spread over the week, although preferably not at weekends.
