The job

As Office Manager & Bookkeeper you will provide 6-months maternity cover where you will manage the day-to-day administration and finance of a small office. You will prepare payroll and VAT returns, basic bookkeeping, processing paperwork, and assisting directors as required.

What you'll need

Experienced bookkeeper and administrator
Knowledge of Xero accounting software or similar
Knowledge of payroll and VAT returns
Experience in the construction industry an advantage but not essential
A good team player, able to assist the directors with daily administration

Where you'll be based

The offices are based in Clopton, near Woodbridge, Suffolk

What you'll receive

£18,000 per annum (£30,000 full time equivalent)
Working three days per week, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Maternity cover for a 6-month period, ideally beginning last week of May 2025
