The employer
A stunning private home of 9 bedrooms, 3.5 acre gardens, and 10 acre woodland.
The job
As domestic couple you will be responsible for the overall management of the house and grounds for the owner, who has not previously had a live-in couple.
Housekeeper - a traditional housekeeper responsible for all cleaning, laundry, ironing, household management i.e. ordering of food and consumables, and assisting with meal prep. There is a longstanding existing part-time housekeeper who you will work alongside and share duties.
Gardener - with the garden currently going through a full redesign by a prominent garden designer, this is an exciting time to take ownership of the beautiful 3.5 acre garden. You'll undertake pruning, planting, weeding, and plant care, in addition to looking after hedges and lawns. You will also be responsible for basic property maintenance, caring for the woodland, and working alongside a part time existing groundsman.
What you'll need
Experience in similar domestic roles within a private household environment
A proactive approach to the upkeep and maintenance of the property and gardens
Discreet and trustworthy
A Full UK driving licence.
Willingness to undertake a DBS check

Where you'll be based
The home is based near to the village of Little Horskesley in Essex, in a rural location. The principal is open to well-behaved pets
What you'll receive
£30,000 per annum salary per position
Working 40 hours per week, predominantly Monday-Friday with occasional weekends for entertaining
Accommodation in the form of a two-bedroom barn conversion (newly renovated)
All bills covered
28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays (per person)
