The employer

The inhouse building and construction team of the Heveningham Hall Estate, encompassing Sibton Park Estate and Wilderness Reserve, a collection of exclusive-use country houses, luxury holiday cottages, and off-grid boltholes spread over a privately owned 8000 acre country estate. Wilderness Reserve is a long-term conservation and restoration project - protecting English nature and breathing new life into historic properties. The job

You love variety in your role - we hope! You'll be responsible for all plumbing & heating operations across the entire estate, from mundane tasks such as servicing or repairing a single boiler to being heavily involved in the design of and advising best operating methods for large, bespoke, complex plumbing and heating systems, as well as overseeing the final installation.

You'll also be responsible for the maintenance of a variety of complex plumbing and heating systems across the 8000 acre estate, including large manor houses, luxury holiday properties, private lets and commercial buildings.

What you'll need

An extensive background in the design and installation of complex plumbing & heating systems.
Proven experience in project management and the management of subcontractors.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
Willingness to 'muck in' on the tools as required.
Experience of period properties an advantage.
Experience of a variety of heating systems, including oil-fired, biomass, woodchip, and air source.
You must be a real team player with a willingness to attend to out of hours emergency call outs where required
A Full UK driving licence and your own transport.

The estate spans 8000 acres, from Heveningham to Sibton to Yoxford.

- £210-£240 per day dependent on experience
- Full time work on subcontract basis with minimum of 45 hours per week
