Junior Videographer

The employer

Wilderness Reserve is an 8000-acre estate of woodland, lakes and rolling pasture, sprinkled with an eclectic collection of historic and traditional Suffolk properties. Lovingly restored by artisans, each home has unique character.

From the grand Grade II listed manor house and restored 15th century barn, to charming, thatched cottages and romantic retreats, Wilderness Reserve is a long-term conservation and restoration project - protecting English nature and breathing new life into historic properties. It is unlike anything or any place you’ve ever been before.

The job

As Junior Videographer you will work as part of our small content team to help create video content that attracts visitors and showcases everything Wilderness Reserve has to offer.

You'll produce outstanding content to align with the current brand by working closely with the Content Manager, Marketing Department and Photographer to deliver high quality video content for the day-to-day running of the estate and larger recurring events which take place throughout the year. This involves supporting our brand partnerships and working occasional weekends for events such as the Heveningham Hall Country Fair and Fireworks night.

You'll be provided with all the tools and resources required to surpass 'normal' levels of creativity and produce truly exceptional content, including state of the art camera equipment.

What you'll need

An understanding of operating video cameras, such as the Sony A7iv.
Ability to develop concepts and ideas that will help develop the Wilderness Reserve content.
A strong passion for collaborating with like-minded creatives, working together to produce high quality video content.
Ability to adapt and make quick decisions in a fast-paced professional environment.
Experience in video editing across all channels with a primary focus on social media within the Adobe Creative Cloud suite or Da Vinci Resolve Studio.
Capability to see a production through to the end, all the way from pre-production to editing.
Happiest when working both individually and with others to develop and execute video concepts that have an impact.
Experiences with Sony cameras, drone operating and shooting events or property tours would be beneficial but are not essential. Training can be provided where necessary.
A Full UK driving licence.

Where you'll be based

Wilderness Reserve is located across 8000 acres, spanning Heveningham, Sibton, and Yoxford in stunning surroundings. You will be based in our purpose-built offices at our Chapel Barn Estate, Heveningham, where you will be based in our small studio complete with state-of-the-art equipment.

What you'll receive

- £24,000 per annum
- Office-based role only, predominantly Monday to Friday 9am-6pm
- Occasional weekend work and early starts/late finishes with time paid back in lieu
- Employed role (permanent contract)
- Opportunity to work on exceptional projects at the highest end of hospitality
- Stunning working location in the Suffolk countryside
