The job

As Illustrator you will support the creation of our educational and media content across print, digital, and video formats. You’ll help shape the visual identity of the company by producing illustrations that make complex legal topics simple, clear, and memorable. You’ll work on materials ranging from printed books and flashcards to social media graphics and explainer video content.

You'll create original, high-quality illustrations for educational books and printed revision materials, flashcards, diagrams, and posters, visual assets for video explainers and learning resources, social media content and marketing visuals.
Additionally, you'll work with legal editors and designers to visualise technical legal ideas in a clear, student-friendly format; help maintain brand consistency and evolve our visual style; and manage multiple illustration tasks to internal deadlines

What you'll need

A strong illustration portfolio showcasing relevant experience
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (and other Adobe Creative Suite tools)
Ability to turn abstract or academic material into clean, engaging visuals
Good time management and responsiveness to feedback
Experience with educational publishing or e-learning visuals (desirable)
Animation or motion graphic skills (basic level) (desirable)
An interest in legal education or visual storytelling for complex subjects (desirable)

Where you'll be based

Hybrid working, with a minimum of two days per week in the Southwold office

What you'll receive

£28,000 per annum (pro rata for part time)
Monday - Friday working week, 9am-5pm core hours
Minimum of two days per week in the office plus remote working
Part time considered (minimum 3 days per week)
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
