The household is seeking an experienced and dependable Houseman/Cook to support the smooth day-to-day running of the residence. The role is hands-on and varied, requiring a practical, service-oriented individual comfortable working within a traditionally run private home.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Culinary; including preparing simple, well-executed meals for the principals and occasionally when the household is entertaining. The estate produces their own organic food; cooking will be done with the freshest estate produced.
Household maintenance and general upkeep
Care of floors, fine surfaces, and polished finishes
Cleaning and maintaining silverware and fine household items
Assisting with the movement of furniture and household items
Household security-related responsibilities
Driving duties as required
Care of domestic animals
Household inventory assistance
Laying and lighting fires, ensuring rooms are properly prepared
Butler-type duties, formal and informal service
Assisting with the preparation and operations when the household hosts private gatherings
