The job
As Groundskeeping Manager you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the lawns, gardens, hedges, wildflowers, and outside areas, undertaking a hands-on role whilst leading and managing a small team to achieve your objectives. You'll work closely with the management team to ensure you are prioritising areas required for upcoming events and also organise and recommend staff training.
What you'll need
Extensive experience in gardening or grounds maintenance
Leadership experience, used to organising and managing a team of people to achieve results
Experience in using and maintaining horticultural equipment and machinery
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, in a physically demanding role
Full UK driving licence due to rural location
Where you'll be based
The venue is based close to Badingham, Suffolk, in a rural location
What you'll receive
£35,000 - £40,000 per annum dependent on experience
Full time employed contract working Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
28 days annual leave, including bank holidays
