The employer

Heveningham Hall is a privately owned and occupied Georgian country house, with extensive gardens restored to Capability Brown's original - but never implemented - designs by noted English landscape architect Kim Wilkie.

The job

You'll be working as part of the gardening team, completing a wide variety of tasks dependent on the season. These will include, but are not limited to, digging, trenching, laying turf, tree work, mowing, edging, strimming, and general gardening duties.

You'll be expected to use a wide variety of horticultural and agricultural machinery and heavy equipment, as well as working on stepladders and a-frames to cut tops of hedges.

What you'll need

Extensive professional gardening experience
Experience of operating a range agricultural and horticultural machinery
Physically fit with a love of working outdoors (in all weathers!)
A Full UK driving licence and your own transport to get to the estate

Where you'll be based

Based at Heveningham Hall in the beautiful Suffolk countryside. You'll be expected to have your own transport to get to the estate each day.

What you'll receive

- £21,000 - £25,000 per annum (employed) dependent on experience
- Full time permanent employment based on a minimum of 39 hours per week (7:30am-4:15pm)
- 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
- Stunning working location in the Suffolk countryside
