The job

As Gardener you will maintain and enhance the gardens of a private residence in Southwold. You will be responsible for planting, cultivating, and maintaining plants, shrubs, trees, and flowers, as well as ensuring the overall aesthetic quality and health of the garden. You'll also assist with water and irrigation, pest & disease control, and assist with landscape design projects.

What you'll need

Experienced gardener
Knowledge of horticulture, plant care, soil management, and pest control.
Physical stamina to perform outdoor work, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Ability to use gardening tools and machinery safely.
Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetic design.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

The home is based in Southwold, Suffolk

What you'll receive

£18.00 - £20.00 per hour dependent on experience
Self-employed role
Working 4 days per week in summer and c.2-3 days per week during the winter months
