As Finance Officer you will be contribute to the statutory and management reporting, financial controls, and accounting process improvement. You'll use your experience to take hands‑on ownership of ledgers and cash while undertaking responsibilities including:

Assisting with the preparation of annual statutory financial statements managing the external auditors
Help to produce monthly management accounts, P&L and balance sheet analyses, and variance commentary.
Understand and be able to run the sales, purchase and general ledgers along with payables, receivables and debtor control
Understand and be able to produce complete bank reconciliations, manage payment runs, and monitor cash positions
Prepare and submit VAT returns manage VAT reconciliations and queries
Oversee payroll processing, ensuring PAYE/NIC, pensions auto‑enrolment and statutory deductions are accurate and timely.
Manage P11D submissions
Maintain full documentation of all procedures
Work with operational and commercial teams to understand and control costs, including supplier reviews and contract analysis.
