The job
As Finance Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities of the group, ensuring that all financial transactions are appropriately and accurately recorded, as well as producing various reports for the directors.
You will be responsible for month-end procedures including reconciliations, accruals, prepayment, and fixed assets; preparation of monthly accounts including cost and revenue analysis; cashflow planning and forecasts; VAT returns; stock calculations; payroll processing; and management of a small team.
What you'll need
ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification (or equivalent experience – part qualified considered)
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a finance role.
A background in the agriculture industry preferred
Proficiency in Sage 50 and advanced Excel skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency in financial reporting and forecasting
A strong commercial awareness
Full UK driving licence
Where you'll be based
The offices are based on the outskirts of Attleborough, Norfolk, and occasional travel to Lincoln will be expected
What you'll receive
£60,000 - £70,000 per annum
Working full time, Monday-Friday 40 hours per week
28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays
