The job

As farm mechanic, you will run the modern farm workshop, responsible or maintaining and mending fleet of farm machinery, including tractors, diggers, cultivation machinery, trailers, combine headers, trucks, and quad bikes, from a variety of manufacturers like John Deere, Fendt, Claas, CAT, Vaderstad, Horsch, Bailey, Western, and Doosan. The workshop is equipped with most kit you will require.

There will also be an opportunity to undertake digger work including ditching and flailing, as well as tractor driving in the summer months.

What you'll need

Extensive experience in the maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery as listed
Experience operating a variety of farming and agricultural machinery
A full UK driving licence due to rural location

The modern workshop is based in a rural location close to Heveningham

What you'll receive

- £35,000 - £40,000 per annum dependent on experience
- Monday - Friday 7am-4:30pm core hours with a stay until the job is completed mindset

- 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
