As Contracts Manager, you will work closely with the Directors, Estimators and Quantity surveyors, taking commercial and operational responsibility for a portfolio of high-profile restoration projects, working predominantly on period properties. You will oversee site managers and site teams across multiple concurrent projects, manage client and design team relationships at a senior level, and ensure each project is delivered to the highest standards of traditional workmanship, safely, on time and within budget.

Responsibilities will include:

Manage a portfolio of live projects, providing oversight and support to site managers and site-based teams
Take commercial responsibility for project delivery, working closely with quantity surveyors on budgets, valuations and variations
The ability to procure new work and to create longstanding client relationships.
Appreciation of traditional techniques required for period properties
Maintain excellent communication with clients, architects, conservation officers, and the wider project team, acting as a senior point of contact
Uphold quality and heritage standards, ensuring compliance with conservation best practices
Oversee site documentation, risk assessments, and health & safety compliance across the portfolio
Support the programming and resourcing of projects in conjunction with the directors
