The employer

Building contractor based in the Woodbridge area, specialising in high-end residential refurbishment and new build projects in the Suffolk Coastal region.

The job

As Contracts Manager you will oversee team of specialist foremen, trades, and craftsmen and be responsible for ensuring an exemplary finish is achieved. Projects range from £100k to £1m+ and you will typically run 3-4 jobs at one time. You'll also be involved in the procurement of bespoke items and work closely with the Contracts Director and the commercial team to ensure timely delivery of projects.

What you'll need

Demonstrable experience running multiple high-end residential projects
A background on the tools, either a qualified carpenter or bricklayer by trade
Appreciation of traditional techniques required for period properties
A Full UK driving licence

Where you'll be based

The majority of projects are based in the Suffolk Coastal region between Woodbridge and Southwold.

What you'll receive

- £55,000 - £57,000 per annum dependent on experience
- Company truck, car, or allowance
- Monday to Friday 42.5 hours per week
- 28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays
