A privately owned country estate venue set in 700 acres of grounds
The job
As Chef de Partie you will work with the experienced Head Chef and Sous Chef as part of a close-knit team delivering exceptional catering to discerning guests within a fantastic venue. The venue delivers, at most, two large events per week and the rest of your schedule will be spent prepping during sensible day time hours.
What you'll need
A minimum of two years experience cooking fresh food within a professional kitchen
A passion for local and seasonal produce
A real desire to learn and expand your cookery knowledge
Driving licence and transport due to location
Where you'll be based
The estate is based close to Saxmundham, Suffolk, in a rural location
What you'll receive
£27,000 - £30,000 per annum dependent on experience
Sensible working schedule - averaging 40 hours per week.
Predominantly day time shifts, plus service on event days (typically max twice per week)
Regular Sunday and Monday days off
