The job
As General Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of our busy café, leading and organising the settled team of front of house staff and working closely with the Head Chef to provide an exceptional experience to our guests. Service can be incredibly busy, 200-300 covers per day, and you'll need to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You'll be the friendly face of the café and ensure guests always want to return!
What you'll need
Experience in a management role within hospitality
Happiest in a very busy fast-paced environment
Experience of running service, leading and developing staff
Engaging personality and focused on guest experience
Driving licence and transport due to location
Where you'll be based
The café is based on the A12 in Marlesford, Suffolk
What you'll receive
£35,000 - £40,000 per annum dependent on experience
A share of the tips (£1k-£2k per year)
Every Wednesday and every other weekend off
Working 40 hours per week between 7:30am and 5pm - no evenings ever!
28 days annual leave
