Two Magpies Bakery is an award-winning artisan bakery and café group with sites located across Norfolk and Suffolk. They are passionate about handcrafted sourdough breads, pastries, cakes and great coffee, all made using traditional methods and the highest quality local ingredients.
The job
We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our team in Framingham to run breakfast and lunch service in our busy kitchen. The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Delivering food in a timely manner
- Maintaining an excellent standard of cleanliness at all times
- Ensuring compliance to health and safety and food hygiene procedures, such as ensuring that log books are filled in, all food is date labelled and checked daily
- Minimising wastage
- Actively contributing to menu ideas with appropriate costings
What you'll need
Experienced in a fresh-food commercial kitchen
Happy working in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of food hygiene procedures and health & safety compliance
Flexibility to travel between other Suffolk sites where necessary
Where you'll be based
The café is in Framlingham town centre
What you'll receive
£30,960 per annum as a salary
Working 42.5 hours per week 5 days from 7am-3:30pm
