The employer
The Suffolk is home to a 60-cover restaurant, rooftop terrace complete with sea views, wine bar, a 24-seater private dining room and six elegantly appointed bedrooms.
Head Chef Luke Truelove, formerly of Tom Kerridge, cooks a menu celebrating the abundant produce from the surrounding unspoilt East Coast while shining a spotlight on its world class producers.
The job
As Breakfast Chef you will cook high-quality seasonal breakfasts for the guests of the hotels six rooms, as well as assisting prep for lunch (or even working lunch service if you wish!)
What you'll need
A minimum of two years experience cooking fresh food within a professional kitchen
A passion for local and seasonal produce
Punctual and reliable
Where you'll be based
The Suffolk is based in the coastal town of Aldeburgh in Suffolk, a stones throw from the beach
What you'll receive
£14.50 per hour
Share of tips of c.£8k per annum (full time equivalent)
Working 5 days per week, typically starting at 7am with shifts available to suit your requirements - you could finish after breakfast, stay until 12pm to prep for lunch, or work lunch service until 2:30pm
