The job

As Bar Manager you will oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional customer service utilising your welcoming personality and hosting skills. You will manage staff, maintain inventory, create a positive atmosphere, and drive profitability through effective leadership and operational excellence.

What you'll need

Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role
Strong leadership and people-management skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Solid understanding of bar operations and beverage knowledge
Experience with budgeting, stock management, and scheduling
Ability to work under pressure and handle a fast-paced environment
Certification in responsible alcohol service (desired)

The pub is based in the village of Orford, Suffolk

What you'll receive

£32,000 - £34,000 per annum dependent on experience
Working 40-45 hours per week to include evenings and weekends on a rota basis
28 days annual leave
