The employer
Fritton Lake is in the heart of a pioneering thousand-acre Norfolk rewilding project, open for cabin owners, private members and holiday guests only. The Clubhouse is at the heart of Fritton Lake and serves expertly prepared meals Monday to Sunday throughout the year. It’s a friendly and relaxed place, with great service and convivial ambience. In the colder months roaring fires and deep sofas keep it cosy, and when the weather gets warmer there is al fresco dining on the south facing terrace or in the garden.
The job
As Bar Manager you will be responsible for taking a leading role in the management of the bar, creating an unrivalled guest experience by using your exceptional front of house/hosting skills to welcome guests upon arrival. You’ll manage stock, cellar management, and work with the Executive Chef to pair drinks to dishes and complement the seasonal menus. You're mixology skills will shine through creating seasonal drinks using foraged produce and training staff on how to correctly execute your creations.
What you'll need
Experienced mixologist with a interest in creating drinks using the fruits and produce of our countryside
Exceptional service delivery standards
WSET level 2 or 3 an advantage
Interest in provenance, seasonality and sustainability across food and beverage
Where you'll be based
Fritton Lake is set in unspoilt woodland and lush meadows that surround the sparkling lake at the heart of the club, close to the Norfolk/Suffolk border
What you'll receive
£32,000 - £34,000 per annum dependent on experience
Employed role (permanent contract)
Working five days from seven on a rota basis, typically 48 hours per week
29 days holiday including bank holidays
Stunning countryside working location
