The employer
The George is a newly re-built pub restaurant with 45 covers which has just undergone a £2 million rebuild and is the only bar restaurant in the beautiful village of Wickham Market. It is far more than a pub and will be the centre of the community, owned by the community.
The job
You will support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the pub, taking full responsibility in their absence. You'll be a shining example of exemplary front of house service standards, leading and inspiring the team as you work. The pub will be the hub of the community with a traditional yet modern atmosphere and the role is perfect for someone looking to progress their hospitality career.
What you'll need
Experience in a supervisory front of house hospitality position
A passion for hospitality and providing an exceptional guest experience
Where you'll be based
The George is based at the centre of the idyllic village of Wickham Market, Suffolk
What you'll receive
£30,000 - £32,000 per annum annual salary
A share of the tips
Full time working c42-45 hours per week
