Assistant General Manager

The employer

A prominent 4-star hotel an 2AA rosette restaurant located in Southwold town centre within walking distance of the beach.

The job

You will support the General Manager in the day-t0-day running of the restaurant and hotel, alongside the Restaurant Manager and F&B Manager. You'll be a shining example of exemplary front of house service standards, leading and inspiring your team as you work. The company are hugely passionate about developing people and you will exposed to all facets of the business, a perfect role for someone looking to progress their hospitality career and working towards an eventual GM position.

What you'll need

Experience in a service-centred role, preferably as AGM, Restaurant Manager, or F&B Manager
Understanding of exemplary levels of service
An interest in wine, WSET preferred but inhouse accreditation is available

Where you'll be based

The hotel is based in the centre of Southwold, within waking distance of the beach.

What you'll receive

- £33,000 - £36,000 per annum
- Permanent employment c.48 hours per week
- 28 days per annum holiday entitlement
