The job

As Administrator you will have hands-on role at the centre of daily operations, supporting order processing, customer service, logistics and general office management.
You’ll be the key link between departments – ensuring accurate order entry, smooth delivery scheduling, and excellent front-line service for our customers and internal stakeholders alike, whether they call, email, or walk in.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Answer incoming customer calls and manage the front-of-house reception
- Process and input customer orders (verbal, written, and in-person) into our internal systems
- Support walk-in customers at the trade counter with product enquiries and order placement
- Schedule deliveries and driver routes using MaxOptra logistics software
- Liaise with the Production Manager and Sales team to ensure orders are ready and dispatched on time
- Analyse order data, pricing trends, and product volumes to support sales and finance reporting
- Maintain accurate records, digital files, and assist with general office tasks

What you'll need

Proven experience in office administration, logistics, or customer service
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office – especially Word, Outlook and Excel
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, filtering, formulas) are a big advantage
Excellent communication skills – confident, friendly, and professional
Comfortable working with logistics or scheduling software (experience with MaxOptra and Breathe HR a bonus)
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
A team player who stays calm under pressure and enjoys variety

Where you'll be based

The offices are based in the IP1 area of Ipswich, with onsite parking. Please note, the office is on the first floor with no lift available.

What you'll receive

£25,000 - £26,000 per annum dependent on experience
Full time employment working Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm
