The Heveningham Hall Estate, encompassing Sibton Park Estate and Wilderness Reserve, a collection of exclusive-use country houses, luxury holiday cottages, and off-grid boltholes spread over a privately owned 8000 acre country estate.
The job
You'll be joining as a second climber felling and processing trees up to 380mm, tree climbing & rescue, aerial cutting of trees with a chainsaw using free fall techniques as part of an arboriculture team covering 8000 acres of arable land, parkland, and forest/woodland.
What you'll need
Fully qualified Arborist with minimum 2 years experience in the arboriculture sector
CS30.1 (Chainsaw Maintenance) and CS30.2 (Crosscutting with Chainsaw)
Clear concise communication skills, good organisation and timekeeping
Knowledge and experience regarding dangerous trees
Aerial Tree Rigging, MEWP, and trailer-towing desirable
A Full UK driving licence and your own transport.
Where you'll be based
The estate spans 8000 acres, from Heveningham to Sibton to Yoxford. You'll be expected to have your own transport to get to the estate each day.
What you'll receive
- £24,000 - £31,000 per annum dependent on experience
- Full time work on subcontract basis with minimum of 45 hours per week
- Limitless overtime available (and encouraged) including weekends
