Davidson are a long-standing family business engaged in a variety of agricultural activities, including farming, property holdings, and the construction of poultry sites - their primary business activity. The company employs over 50 people from the local area, many of whom have spent their entire career with the company.

The job

As Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for the fabrication of structural steel elements and associated bracketry. The role will involve carrying out accurate and repeatable welding work to
ensure the business meets the highest standards, the products are produced to the specified standard and that the checks are measures are recorded for compliance with industry standards.

What you'll need

Experienced MIG welder and fabricator
Ability to read detailed drawings
Coded welder qualification, RWC qualification, and forklift operator qualification preferred
Driving licence and transport due to rural location

Where you'll be based

The modern offices and yard are based in a rural location close to Stradbroke, Suffolk.

What you'll receive

£15.00 - £18.00 per hour depending on experience
Overtime available
Monday - Friday 6:30am-4pm
Life insurance (after 1 year of service)

29 days annual leave including bank holidays
