The employer
The inhouse building and construction team of the Heveningham Hall Estate, encompassing Sibton Park Estate and Wilderness Reserve, a collection of exclusive-use country houses, luxury holiday cottages, and off-grid boltholes spread over a privately owned 8000 acre country estate. Wilderness Reserve is a long-term conservation and restoration project - protecting English nature and breathing new life into historic properties. The job
You'll be working within the estates inhouse building team, leading our tradesmen with focus on completing unique, bespoke property refurbishment, development, and new build projects across our 8000 acre estate.
You'll report to our Head of Construction and work alongside planners, design technicians, and engineers, to ensure sites are running to maximum efficiency and on schedule. You'll be expected to line manage Site Managers across a multi-project site alongside undertaking some site management duties yourself.
What you'll need
Extensive experience as a Site Manager, Project Manager, or Contracts Manager working on £multi-million projects
Background general building and/or carpentry
Pride in your work and a real eye for detail
Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate a team of experienced trades
A Full UK driving licence and your own transport.
Where you'll be based
The estate spans 8000 acres, from Heveningham to Sibton to Yoxford. You'll be expected to have your own transport to get to the estate each day.
What you'll receive
- £50,000-£55,000 per annum (employed) dependent on experience
- Full time permanent employment based on a minimum of 45 hours per week
