The employer

Wilderness Reserve is an 8000-acre estate of woodland, lakes and rolling pasture, with an eclectic collection of historic and traditional Suffolk properties lovingly restored by artisans.

The job

As Property Operations Manager you will take full responsibility of the housekeeping department, the laundry, and Estate Porters to create a quality service for guests - inspiring others to always achieve excellence.

To achieve this, you will lead on day-to-day operations, quality control, recruitment, training, and resource planning. You'll ensure that staff are scheduled each week within budget, taking into consideration the fluctuating occupancy rates, and manage stock and supervise the purchase of housekeeping products and equipment. It is imperative that you are able to lead and inspire dedicated teams and have an unsurpassed eye for detail.

What you'll need

Experience in a management role within a luxury hospitality setting
An exceptional people manager who can encourage and promote good employee morale whilst ensuring the highest of standards are achieved consistently
Standards driven and detail-orientated, accepting nothing less than perfection
A good understanding of scheduling, productivity and inventory controls
An exceptional administrator with the ability to prioritise your own workload and plan ahead
A Full UK driving licence

Where you'll be based

At Wilderness Reserve between Heveningham, Sibton, and Yoxford.

What you'll receive

£40,000 - £50,000 per annum dependent on experience
Employed role (permanent contract)
Typically working Monday-Friday with early starts and weekend work as required
