Britten Pears Arts (BPA) is a pioneering Music & Arts based charity, situated on the beautiful Suffolk coast, working across a wide range of activities. Music-related charitable work includes Artist Development, a year-round Performance Programme, Music in the Community and Creative Health and our Living Heritage Museum and Archive at The Red House
BPA has a broad property portfolio which includes the concert hall, offices, retail, catering and performance spaces at Snape Maltings, as well as Snape Bridge House, The Red House (Aldeburgh) together with three separate properties used to accommodate artists and which can also be booked for holidays, and Elizabeth Court – a 16-bed student style accommodation facility in the middle of Aldeburgh. As well as managing a number of holiday properties at Snape Maltings on behalf of their owners, there are also three homes which are permanent residences.
The job
As Property Management Coordinator you will support the Head of Property Management & Capital Programme with their many and varied responsibilities. You will be immersed in all aspects of our property and commercial work as BPA gears up for a busy period of capital building work.
Your work will include project administration, organising and minuting meetings, liaising with other teams and stakeholders to arrange and follow-up meetings, carrying out inspections etc., as well as some procurement, reconciling invoices/expenses and handling correspondence and diary management.
You'll also play a major role in ensuring that the organisation’s buildings and vehicles are legally compliant, and that all statutory tests have been completed on time.
This is a varied role, with some level of individual responsibility but primarily it is a supporting role. If you’re a forward-thinker with strong administration skills, with experience of working in property management and thrive in a busy environment, then this role could be for you.
What you'll need
Experience of working in property management, including liaising with stakeholders, tenants, contractors, and processing invoices
Administration experience - ideally to have included co-ordinating meetings, taking minutes, diary management and co-ordination for another person.
Experience working around statutory H&S requirements.
Excellent organisational skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Full driving licence and transport due to location
Where you'll be based
You'll be based on site in offices at Snape Maltings
What you'll receive
£30,000 - £32,000 per annum full time equivalent
21 hours per week which can be worked over 3 or more days
