The job

As Production Project Manager you will oversee a wide range of operational and technical projects across the manufacturing site. You’ll work closely with the senior leadership team to drive continuous improvement, ensure product excellence, and lead people effectively. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting stuck in, solving engineering challenges, and delivering results.

Responsibilities will include:
- Product Development: Support and lead improvements in product performance, packaging, and manufacturing processes.
- Machinery Development & Installation: Oversee new machinery projects from planning through to installation and commissioning.
- Health & Safety: Ensure the site meets all safety standards, championing a culture of safe working practices.
- Quality Control: Maintain and improve production quality, ensuring consistency across all Bed-Down bedding products.
- Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and support production staff to achieve operational targets.
- Mechanical Problem-Solving: Diagnose and address mechanical issues across the production line.

What you'll need

Strong mechanical aptitude and practical engineering ability.
Proven experience in production, manufacturing, or project-based roles.
Confidence in managing people and leading operational teams.
Ability to plan, prioritise and execute multiple projects at once.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Welding and fabrication experience (preferred)
Previous experience in agricultural, equestrian, or industrial manufacturing environments.

Where you'll be based

In Metfield, Suffolk, in a farm setting

What you'll receive

£40,000 - £45,000 per annum dependent on experience
Full time employment, working 7am-5pm
28 days annual leave
On site parking
