The job
As PPA Administrator will be responsible for managing and developing client relationships in relation to Power Purchase Agreements, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the lifecycle of a PPA. This role combines client management, support and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of long-term renewable energy contracts.
You will play a key role in supporting clients’ energy and decarbonisation strategies while ensuring PPAs are structured, executed, and managed in line with commercial and risk objectives.
Key responsibilities will include
- Act as the primary contact for PPA clients, providing ongoing support
- Understand client energy consumption profiles and execute PPA on their behalf to boost their income
- Deliver clear, professional communication to clients throughout the PPA process
- Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and reporting from initial enquiry through to ongoing support
- Support the end-to-end delivery of PPAs, from initial enquiry to export pricing through to contract execution
- Coordinate with utilities to progress transactions
- Assist in sourcing commercial PPA rates
- Manage post-execution client support, including performance monitoring
- Contribute to process improvement and best practice development within the PPA team
- Monitor renewable energy and PPA market developments, pricing trends, and regulatory changes
- Translate complex market information into clear, actionable advice for clients
- Support development of tailored PPA structures (physical, virtual, sleeved, private wire & peer to peer)
What you'll need
Proven experience in client management or account management
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
Direct experience managing or negotiating PPAs (desirable)
Knowledge of renewable technologies (desirable)
Understanding of energy risk management and hedging principles (desirable)
Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. energy, economics, engineering, finance) (desirable)
Client-focused with a consultative approach
Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Confident working with complex commercial information
Proactive, adaptable, and results-driven
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving market
Where you'll be based
The offices are based in Woodbridge, Suffolk
What you'll receive
£30,000 - £33,000 per annum dependent on experience
