The job
As Operations Manager, a newly created role due to growth, you will oversee the running of four food retail outlets, taking the lead on day-to-day operations, quality control, recruitment, staff management, training, and resource planning. You'll ensure that staff are scheduled each week within budget, manage stock and ensure the highest levels of customer service are delivered. It is imperative that you are able to lead and inspire your teams, leaning on your extensive retail operations experience to achieve this.
What you'll need
Experience in a management role within a retail setting (food retail preferred)
An exceptional people manager who can encourage and promote good employee morale whilst ensuring the highest of standards are achieved consistently
Strong communication and collaboration skills
A good understanding of scheduling, productivity and inventory controls
An exceptional administrator with the ability to prioritise your own workload and plan ahead
Willingness to take the bulk of your annual leave out of season - if you know Aldeburgh you will know why!
Where you'll be based
You will be based in the town of Aldeburgh, all businesses operate from High Street locations
What you'll receive
£35,000 per annum
Working full time 8am-4pm, five days from seven
A discretionary bonus
28 days annual leave
