The job
As Multi-Skilled Engineer you will work as part of an engineering team to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems issues; perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment; monitor and optimise production processes to maximise efficiency; maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance; support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives; respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.
What you'll need
Experienced Engineer in both electrical and mechanical engineering
Experience with PLC systems and automation
Strong knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical and control systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work on a rotating shift schedule and occasional weekend work.
Knowledge of health and safety standards and procedures.
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Food Safety Level 2 or 3 preferred
HACCP Level 2 or 3 preferred
IOSH Managing Safely
Allergen Awareness

The business is based in Stradbroke, Suffolk, in a rural location
What you'll receive
A salary of £43,000 to £48,000 per annum dependent on experience
Typically working Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm
