Maternity Cover Housekeeper

The employer

A large private family home with some 10-11 acres.

The job

Housekeeper required for 16 hours per week, responsible for the orderly running of the household to include cleaning, laundry, ironing, and tidying. The family place high value on confidentiality and privacy and are looking for someone who reduces household hassle - a noiseless approach which allows the family to get on with their work while you work in the background. That being said, they are a lovely family, friendly and fun!

This is a maternity cover role due to begin 4th November and last for approx. 10 months. You will receive a long handover from the current housekeeper.

What you'll need

An experienced housekeeper
An excellent timekeeper who is reliable and trustworthy
An ability to approach physically demanding tasks with vigour
A positive approach to solve, rather than present, problems is important
Kind, quiet, diligent, and flexible
A Full UK driving licence and your own transport.

Where you'll be based

The estate is based close to Saxmundham, a short distance from the A12.

What you'll receive

- £15 per hour (self-employed)
- Working 16 hours per week, ideally Monday, Tuesday & Friday 9:30am-1:30pm in the home plus 4 hours ironing per week which can be done at home
- Stunning working location in the Suffolk countryside
