The employer
Hillfarm Oils produces cold-pressed rapeseed oil from their family farm in Heveningham. It is part of a diverse, family-run group of farming businesses in rural Suffolk, including traditional arable farming, a broiler chicken farm, and a solar park.
The job
As Managing Director, you will be responsible for devising and delivering the overall strategy for Hillfarm Oils with the goal of increasing revenue via b2b and b2c sales. Your commercial acumen will ensure profit margins are being maximised and, equally, knowing when to walk away from business that does not align with the overall strategy.
You will lead the small but dedicated team to secure the long-term future of the company and help it continue to thrive.
What you'll need
An experienced business leader
Proven track record of driving revenue and increasing profits in a production business
Knowledge and experience of gaining entry to large retailers
Experience in both b2b and b2c sales
A full UK driving licence due to rural location
Where you'll be based
The modern warehouse and offices are based on the family farm in Heveningham, Suffolk
What you'll receive
- Salary dependent on experience
- Company performance related bonus
- Full time hours Monday - Friday as the business requires
