The job

As Head Chef you will lead a small brigade responsible for the smooth-running of the kitchen operation in this popular restaurant, cooking classic brasserie-style food. An ideal opportunity for a Sous Chef looking for their first Head Chef role.

What you'll need

Experience as a Head Chef or as a Sous Chef ready to step up
A passion for modern food with a French twist
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.

Where you'll be based

The restaurant is based close to the centre of Ipswich, unfortunately there is no staff parking available but it is easily accessible from the train and bus station

What you'll receive

£36,000 - £38,000 per annum salary
Tips equalling £400-£500 per month
2.5 days off per week
48 hour working week, Wednesday-Saturday split shifts, plus Sunday lunch
28 days annual leave
