The Loddon Swan is a 2AA rosette charming independent freehouse nestled in the heart of the Norfolk Broads and the bustling market town of Loddon.
The job
We are seeking a Sous Chef to help lead and develop the food offering and build on the success and reputation that the pub has garnered under the current ownership. You'll work with the Head Chef on seasonal menus and dish development, using the finest local ingredients, including small plates as well as pub classics done to the best possible standard
What you'll need
Proven experience as a Sous Chef, with a passion and commitment to classic cuisine
Excellent culinary skills and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to lead, motivate and train a team.
Commitment to fostering an enjoyable working environment, with an emphasis on having fun whilst achieving your objectives
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
Where you'll be based
The Swan is based in the market town of Loddon, South Norfolk
What you'll receive
Sous Chef - £35,000 - £37,000 per annum dependent on experience
Tips equating to approx. £3k per annum
Working 4.5 days per week, Wednesday-Saturday plus Sunday lunch
You will also cover breakfast one weekend in every three
