The employer
A 16th century coaching inn serving high-quality fresh British food using locally sourced produce, including vegetables from their own allotment garden. They are striving for 2AA rosettes as they continue to push the boundaries of creativity and quality.
The job
As CDP or Sous Chef, you will support the experienced and ambitious Head Chef and established brigade of six to deliver the highest quality fresh food to guests. The hotel is open seven days per week but you will only work straight shifts, typically 40 hours per week, and always get two consecutive days off. You'll have a great opportunity to learn and expand your knowledge, and progress through the kitchen as the team evolves.
What you'll need
A minimum of two years experience cooking fresh food within a professional kitchen
A passion for local and seasonal produce
A real desire to learn and expand your cookery knowledge

The coaching inn is based in the centre of Woodbridge
What you'll receive
£28,000 - £34,000 per annum dependent on experience
Tips equating to at least £250 per month
A working week of 40-44 hours
Straight shifts, either breakfast/lunch or lunch/dinner
Two days off in a row each week
