Head Chef Luke Truelove, formerly of Tom Kerridge, cooks a menu celebrating the abundant produce from the surrounding unspoilt East Coast while shining a spotlight on its world class producers.
The job
The Suffolk is looking for enthusiastic and ambitious chefs to join their growing team, working with Head Chef Luke Truelove (formally with Tom Kerridge) who is busy developing an exciting menu of British and French classics using the best local produce.
What you'll need
A minimum of two years experience cooking fresh food within a professional kitchen
A passion for local and seasonal produce
A real desire to learn and expand your cookery knowledge
Where you'll be based
The Suffolk is based in the coastal town of Aldeburgh in Suffolk, a stones throw from the beach
What you'll receive
£30,000 - £35,000 per annum dependent on experience
Tips of c.£4k per annum
40 hour working week which will be weighted towards the summer while your pay remains consistent
