Snape Maltings is home to independent shops, galleries and eateries, and several performance venues – including the world-famous Snape Maltings Concert Hall, all set within converted Victorian buildings on a beautiful heritage site.

The job

Britten Pears Arts are preparing to deliver a series of capital projects spanning the next 3 years, which include extensive refurbishment works, civil engineering projects, and smaller works, totalling c.£13m. As Capital Projects Manager, you will be involved from tender stage, helping to appoint and then manage contractors for individual projects, working with architects, engineers, and builders to ensure smooth delivery and maintain cost control.

You will take the lead on the delivery and execution of some impressive works that will help to breathe new life in to this fantastic heritage site.

What you'll need

Extensive experience managing capital projects on behalf of the client
QS trained an advantage
Ability to liaise with contractors to resolve issues in a timely and cost-effective manner
Experience of tendering process
A Full UK driving licence and own transport

Where you'll be based

Snape Maltings is based in the village of Snape, East Suffolk. You will work from the offices of the management team.

What you'll receive

- £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
- Employed role (3 year fixed term contract)
- Full time, working 35 hours per week 9:30am-5:30pm Monday - Friday
