The job
As Buyer you will be responsible for the negotiation and ordering of materials and goods relating to both the hospitality and construction businesses. On a daily basis you will be negotiating directly with suppliers, identifying new suppliers, communicating with the operational teams, forecasting purchases, managing tenders, keeping concise records of purchases through a PO system, and recording material costs.
What you'll need
Enthusiasm in abundance, with the ability to work at a fast pace
Passionate at securing a deal with excellent negotiation skills
Highly organised and ability to manage your own workload
Confidence at using a range of basic IT programmes
Basic knowledge of the hospitality or construction industries an advantage
Level-headed with an ability to meet deadlines
A Full UK driving licence and your own transport.
Where you'll be based
The offices are based in an idyllic location in Yoxford, Suffolk.
What you'll receive
£30,000 - £32,000 per annum dependent on experience
Full time permanent employment working Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
