The job
As Accounts Assistant & Administrator you will support the financial operations of the group businesses in a varied and rewarding role, within a fast-paced exciting environment.
You'll undertake day-to-day bookkeeping for both businesses; manage accounts payable and receivable; bank reconciliations and supporting cash flow management; prepare financial reports and assisting with month-end processes; liaise with suppliers, clients, and external accountants.
In addition, you will undertake general office administration including HR related admin, sales administration, and customer services.
What you'll need
Experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance based role
Comfortable using accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to support the wider team in a very busy working environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Where you'll be based
The offices are based on the outskirts of Halesworth, Suffolk, in a quite rugged setting - certainly not one for those used to a corporate environment!
What you'll receive
£28,000 - £30,000 per annum full time equivalent, dependent on experience
Part time, working between 25-30 hours per week (dependent on your requirement). Hours can be three or four full days or spread over five shorter days
