The job
As Bookkeeper & Office Manager you will work closely with the directors to provide day-to-day administrative support to the group of companies, as well as being responsible for the accounts function including management of daily cashflow, creditors; VAT returns, and supporting the accountants with payroll and year-end accounts. You'll also be responsible for overall company administration including HR admin, organising staff training, and adding your own commercial input to business decisions.
What you'll need
Experienced Bookkeeper & Administrator
AAT Level 3 or qualified by experience
Solid Excel skills and confidence handling data
Organised, meticulous and commercially aware
Able to work independently and take initiative
Happy to be part of a small, close-knit team where everyone mucks in
Discreet, trustworthy and professionally confident
Where you'll be based
The office is based on Aldeburgh High Street and is office-based - no hybrid working
What you'll receive
£15.00 per hour, working part time
Hours of between 20-25 per week (dependent on your preference) which can be worked on a schedule to suit you, i.e. 3x full days, 4x shorter days, school hours, etc.
28 days annual leave (fte)
