The job
As Backend .NET Developer you will operate as a close collaborator within the groups software delivery function, working to ensure the successful development and ongoing integrity of innovative, high-quality, robust solutions which closely fulfil and support the strategic needs of all brands within the group
What you'll need
Experience integrating with industry-leading external cloud-solutions, ideally some/all of the following: HubSpot, Stripe, SendGrid, Auth0
Must have a solid understanding on the fundamentals of Event-Driven Architecture, including the roles of APIs, Webhooks and Integration Platforms such as Zapier and make.it
Strong knowledge of .NET Core and C# including LINQ, JSON and Inversion of Control
Proven expertise in providing serviced solutions for a range of Web technologies such as Next.js and React.js, and Native App technologies including iOS and Android.
Previous experience with Azure PaaS, including Function Apps, Blob/Table Storage, Service Bus Topics/Queues, Azure Search and API Management
Understanding of the principles behind Infrastructure as Code (ideally Terraform) and its use in CI/CD Pipeline based deployment.
An interest and ability to learn new ideas and be able to apply them in practical solutions
Clear understanding of the benefits and challenges of working in an Agile development environment, including the use things such as Wikis and Work Items to communicate ideas and organise tasks
Positive proactive attitude, willing to turn your hand to any problem, and willing to work things out when they fall outside their area of direct expertise.
Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
Skilled in facilitation and co-ordination of cross functional teams such that they can a reach timely consensus on the optimal technical solution for business problems.
Broad expanse of experience and knowledge in a range of techniques and tools as well as being a capable contributor in more than one of the development team’s core specialisms.
Understanding of how to build secure applications and secure coding techniques.

The offices are close to Halesworth, Suffolk, and the role is 100% office-based
What you'll receive
£90,000 - £95,000 per annum dependent on experience
Working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday
28 days annual leave
