The employer
The Lindsey Rose is a traditional, charming country pub and restaurant, serving real ales with a traditional British menu using local, freshly prepared produce. Part of Nedging Hall Estate, a group of local hospitality venues with exciting growth ambitions and environmental and sustainability targets.
The job
As Assistant, you will work closely with our fantastic General Manager on the day-to-day operations of the pub, with a a roll-your-sleeves-up attitude to get stuck into the many community nights and events we hold, including pub quizzes, beer festivals, open mic nights, and more. When the GM is off, you will be responsible for opening and closing, cashing up, ordering stock, and much more. You'll also be passionate about reducing the environmental impact of the pub and work towards meeting the groups carbon zero target.

Proven hospitality experience and a desire to learn the industry
Environmentally conscious
Inspirational leadership skills, leading by example
Full UK driving licence due to rural location
Where you'll be based
The Lindsey Rose is located in Lindsey Tye in South Suffolk.
