The company
Wilderness Reserve is a collection of 28 exclusive use Cottages, Barns, Farmhouses and Manors, remotely located throughout an 8,000 acre private estate of rolling pastures, lakes and woodland. These together with a number of events for corporates, romantic retreats, celebration parties and a limited number of weddings, attract guests from all over the world (we expect over 20,000 guests in 2024).
The estate has focused on enhancing English nature for the past 30 years and have improved their habitat with the restoration of existing woodland, planting of new forests, restoring numerous ponds, building new lakes, planting tens of kilometres of hedges and reverting several thousand acres of arable into pastures.
The job
As Warehouse and Stock operative you will be solely responsible for our small warehouse, including managing all goods in/out and stock/inventory management, including maintaining accurate records in stock systems. There will be a physical element to the role, as well as operating a forklift in the warehouse.
What you'll need
A strong, recent background in an inventory or stock management environment
Forklift certification desired but not essential, training can be provided
A good level of IT skills
Physically fit with the ability to lift and carry items in the warehouse
A Full UK driving licence and your own transport
Where you'll be based
You will be based in a remote location close to Heveningham, Suffolk
What you'll receive
- £12.50 per hour based on a minimum 48 hour working week
- Full time employed contract, starting at 7am each day
- Typically Monday-Friday with occasional weekend work required
