C.E. Davidson are a long-standing family business engaged in a variety of agricultural activities, including farming, property holdings, and the construction of poultry sites - their primary business activity. The company employs over 50 people from the local area, many of whom have spent their entire career with the company.
The job
As Storesperson you will be responsible for managing material stock levels and ensuring accurate recording on inventory system. You will manage the booking in/out of stock items, monitor stock levels, and liaise with management regarding material ordering. You will operate a counterbalance forklift including loading and loading of own transport and third party deliveries. You may also be required to make ad-hoc local deliveries in a company vehicle and you will be responsible for general housekeeping around the yard and offices.
What you'll need
Experience of working in a stores or construction environment
Organised, personable, and diligent
Current counterbalance forklift certificate
Experience using iStore inventory software or similar an advantage
A full UK driving licence due to rural location
Where you'll be based
The modern offices and yard are based in a rural location close to Stradbroke, Suffolk.
What you'll receive
- £12.35 per hour (47.5 hours per week)
- Overtime available
- Monday - Friday 6:30am-4pm
- Life insurance (after 1 year of service)

- 29 days annual leave including bank holidays
